I understand that ceremonial work and shamanic work may involve physical and psychological risks including being cold and wet, being frightened, being near fire and near or in water and the risks associated with being outside for periods of time in various types of weather. I understand that in order for me to be allowed to enter into shamanic healing and/or ceremonial work, I must give up my rights to hold Sherri Shaw Morgan, and any person or organization associated with her or with Wild Soul Rising, as well as any person who is in Sherri Shaw Morgan’s assembled group, liable for any injury to my person or damage to my personal property which I may suffer while attending.
 
I understand that I am in total control of whether or not I choose to participate in any ceremonial or shamanic work, or any training exercise, and that I may say “no” at any time to any assignment or healing act suggested to me. I understand that neither Sherri Shaw Morgan nor anyone in the assembled group, nor anyone or any organization associated with Sherri Shaw Morgan or Wild Soul Rising can coerce me into believing or doing anything, and that I freely choose my participation in shamanic healing and/or training moment by moment, and that I can say no at any time.

I understand that shamanic work may include the use of traditional healing medicinal plants. I hereby agree that I always have a choice whether or not to participate, and I agree to take full responsibility for the choices I make involving this work during and after the event. I agree that I always have full choice and take full responsibility for my choice even though I may perceive social pressure to do otherwise by shamans or other participants.
 
I understand that Sherri Shaw Morgan is not a trained psychotherapist, physician or medical professional. I understand that Sherri Shaw Morgan works spiritual energies and imagery, and that all imagery may have multiple interpretations. I accept my own responsibly to make meaning to the experience of a healing session. I understand that shamanic healing work is unregulated and unlicensed and that there is truly no objective, scientific or rational gauge for the authenticity, quality or effectiveness of shamanic healing.

Knowing this, I hereby voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risk of personal injury or death or property damage suffered by me during my time with Sherri Shaw Morgan and Wild Soul Rising.

I also hereby voluntarily release any other organization associated with Sherri Shaw Morgan, including any organization rented for workshops retreats or any other reason. I understand and agree that I am releasing not only these organizations but also their officers, employees, membership and independent contractors. I also hereby voluntarily release any other individual associated with Jaime Meyer.
 
I understand and agree that this agreement will have the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving, and forever giving up my right to bring any and all lawsuits or other actions or demands against any of the above named individuals, groups or organizations, that I may have or have had contact with, whether past, present or future, whether known or unknown, whether anticipated or unanticipated by me, arising from my attendance at this retreat, ceremony or healing. This agreement constitutes a complete release, discharge, and waiver of any and all lawsuits, actions, or demands against the any individual or organization associated with Sherri Shaw Morgan and Wild Soul Rising, their officers, employees, agents, volunteers, or independent contractors.

I understand and agree that this agreement applies to personal injury, property loss or damage, or death, which I may suffer, even if caused by acts or omissions on the part of Sherri Shaw Morgan or others.
 
I understand and agree that this agreement will be binding on me, my spouse, children and any guardian ad litem for such children, my heirs, my assigns, and my personal representatives.
 
I understand and agree that by paying for a healing session, ceremony or retreat, I am agreeing to release, indemnify, and hold Sherri Shaw Morgan and the above named parties, its officers, employees, agents, or independent contractors harmless from any and all liability or costs, including attorney’s fees, associated with or arising from my attendance in shamanic healing or training. I understand that "indemnify" as used in this agreement, means that I must protect Sherri Shaw Morgan and all above named parties from legal consequences.
